I feel that my second film is the most appropriate to pick as i feel it is the easiest to make. For example, with my previous film i would of had to spend a lot of money on the costume for my antagonist and it is money i do not have. On the other hand, with this film my cast would have to wear normal clothing. This is effective because i have no available funds to spend on this film so it is effective that i cut back on everything i can.
The second reason I choose The House That is Haunted is because it is a lot easier to make. For example, with the other film the location is set in the woods, this is difficult for me because i live in an area where there are no wooded areas. therefore i would have to travel far in order to get to the right location and this costs money. On the other hand, the film i have chosen is set in an average UK home. This is effective because i can use my home which fits the description and it will save money because i will not have to worry about location fees. It is also a lot easier to film indoors because you do not have to worry about weather conditions and dangerous hazards.
The third and final reason i selected my second film is because i feel it would have the greater impact. For example, with the other film it is about a space travelling robot. With the research i conducted prior to this unit i discovered that in recent years people find robots not scary anymore because it is to simple and outdated. On the other hand, with the film I chosen it is an unpredictable story line. This is effective because it will draw more audiences in and it will make my film more popular which can lead to a higher mark in this course.
In conclusion, I choose The House is Haunted because it is the cheapest to make and the easiest to film, this is effective because it means that it wont cost a lot of money to make.

Analysed Movie Ideas
String-Borg
Advantages:
. It is an original idea and it is not generic so therefore the audience might not expect the story line.
. It is really cheap to make so i will be able to save money while making the short film.
. It is really simple to create because it is set in the woods so it will save money on the editing.
. The cast list is small so for someone with no budget this idea will be really cost effective.
Disadvantages
. It takes time to film and the location i am filming in i would take time to get to because i live in an area where there are no forests.
. The Tittle of the film is not well thought out and for a horror short film this is Crucial because it attracts the audience.
. Robots are not seen as scary anymore so my audience might find this film not scary.
Overall i feel this film is not to be selected because I feel that it is not going to be scary enough for the horror film genre and this genre is one of the most popular types of films. In conclusion, This film would be really hard to film as to make the audience believe the robot is real i would have to spend a lot of money on his costume and this is money I do not have.
The House is Haunted

. The location would be in my house so this solve the issue with traveling to the location with my previous film.
. It is also really cheap to make as in horror there is no out of this world special effects so i can save money.
. The story is set around people my age, so i can ask my friends to play the rolls this will save money.
Disadvantages:
. The tittle is to generic if i wanted to attract more costumer i will have to change the name.
. For a horror film it is the most stereotypical idea and people will most likely know the story before it is told unlike my previous film with idea is unpredictable.
. If i want to make the location to look more scary then i would have to decorate my location which will cost money and it is money i do not have.
